Credit Library respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Email address, if you subscribe to The Credit Letter.
- Messages you send us by email.
- Usage data, such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
Our calculators run in your browser. We don’t store the numbers you enter.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for.
- To reply to your messages.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To display and measure advertising, where applicable.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the site, including our web host, an email marketing provider for the newsletter, and analytics and advertising services such as Google. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it outside Canada, where it is subject to local laws.

Cookies help the site work, remember preferences and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended.

- Ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

The site is intended for adults and isn’t directed at children under 16.
